Back with Android after years - got questions

I'm back with Android after several years of being on the Dark Side (the phone that must not be named) and am trying to relearn how android phones work and what all I can do with them.

I just bought the Galaxy S7 and have no idea how to create or make a ringtone from a mp3 song on my computer.

Also, how do I move the Apps icon from the bottom toolbar on my screen ? I want that spot for Spotify.

Never mind on the ringtone question, I found a really good app that does it for me.

Questions -
How do I move the Apps icon around on my screen instead of it being stuck in the bottom right corner on the quick bar ?

How do I make a "Group" of icons on my screen ? I'm talking about the white boxes that have several apps in it, like all the Amazon ones, all the Social Media ones, that came default on my S7 ?

How do I put more icon on the quick bar on the Locked Screen page (the one that is visible when you wake up your phone and have to swipe to actually access your phone) ? All I can do is edit the two that are already there, one each in the bottom right and left corners. Is there a way to put 4 or 5 there ?

I'm a total newbie with Androids again and could use some good advice and help. Thanks in advance !

Welcome to Android Central, and welcome back to Android!

Most stock launchers don't allow you to move the App Drawer icon. But 3rd party launchers like Nova Launcher do allow this, so give that a try.

I'm going to move this to the S7 forum, since the questions you're asking are more specific to that device, rather than Android devices in general.

Thanks for the advice and moving my post to the right forum thread. Hopefully now it will have the right people see it and I can begin learning all about my new phone :)

On your lockscreen, the default is limited to just the two icons (right and left). You could always try a third party app to replace the lockscreen.

Or for a different look/feel, you can try Good Lock (in the Samsung Galaxy Apps) and I believe it allows you to add up to 20 app shortcuts. Here is a link with more info and instructions about Good Lock - (Update: Video added) This is Samsung's Good Lock UI for Android - Android Authority

I installed Nova Launcher and it looks very cool. Kinda tricky to work for some of the settings but overall a good launcher and icon editing tool. One queation about it. I have only done the "Launch one time only" command so far. If I tell my phone to launch this every time automatically, how do I get my phone to go back to it's default Samsung Galaxy launcher if I decide Nova Launcher isn't for me anymore ?

Many phones have an option in the System Settings to choose the default launcher (the option is often called "Home"). If you don't have that option, then you can go to the App Manager, select Nova, and Clear Defaults. Then tap the Home button again, and it will ask you which launcher you want to use.
