Backing up G4 and transferring to G5

So I am eagerly awaiting my new LG G5. Is it possible to transfer all settings and files from my G4 in one go - not just photos, apps etc but the settings for Exchange and Gmail accounts, social media accounts, Whatsapp messages etc?

It worked for me going from G2 to G4, and many people from G3 to G4. Should be no reason why it wouldn't, not everything will transfer perfectly as somethings will be different.

Lg Backup and Restore should work.

If you have both phones available - both new and old - available that's the easiest way. (see the second post in the above thread).

The only change is Google backup has advanced. Let that restore first, then run LG Backup & Restore (restore) after that. I've tested this.
