Hi all,

I usually keep a 2nd charger in my bag. Searched around a bit and had a hard time finding the USB 3 cable that I got with the Note 3. Has anyone found this online and can you provide a link?

If not, what are you using?

Thanks so much,
Dan

Usb 2 cables would work fine as well for charging

I bought 2 USB 3.0 cables from some guy that posted here (his site was questionable, but I got mine) for under $20 IIRC. Any micro USB cable will work for charging the device and I am generally near a computer so the only thing I'd like to have access to is a USB 3.0 cable. Otherwise, needing a backup charger is no big deal for me. I've used everything from Motorola USB cables to HTC cables. While they don't all charge at the same rate, they all provide a charge.

I purchased two of these <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DQKQ7U8/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1> each provides 4 usb ports supplying 2.1 Amps each to charge the connected devices. One on my desk and one in my travel bag. They really shorten the time it takes to charge the Note 3 and my tablets.

I bought an extra Samsung stock charger with USB 2.0 cable and an aftermarket USB 3.0 cable on Ebay, I think I spent like $10 total.

I bought a patriot portable fuel cell 5200ma. Can charge at 2.5A and is small enough to carry in a jacket. Only thing is, the battery life is so good, I never need to recharge during the day.

Still use my evo lte charger,, works just fine.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

Well, my OEM SamDung USB 3.0 wall charger doesn't charge as fast as my BlackBerry premium 1.8 amp wall charger. Charged my phone using both chargers more than a few times already and the BB USB 2.0 charger gets it done faster each time. Using a USB 3.0 cable on my SamDung charger or a USB 2.0 cable - there's zero difference between the two.

USB 3.0 cables are useless when using a 1 amp wall charger; they give you nothing more than USB 2.0. Maybe a USB 3.0 port on a PC gets the job done faster than a USB 2.0 port, but it makes no difference when using a wall charger capable of delivering 1 amp or more.

I have so many USB 2.0 chargers from old phones that I just use them as a backup.

I've got a random 2.0 Samsung and a generic one left over from my Razr/DroidX/OG DROID era. I also have the portable battery in the link below, which was needed for the Razr. I also have the official travel charger, which I got for half price through the coupon I got from Samsung when I bought the phone and which I bought mostly for the second battery. The Anker sits unused since I've had the Note (I occasionally top it off) as does the travel charger. Every so often, I swap batteries though. Maybe I'll use them again if I ever get the chance to go anywhere <chuckle>.
