Hi All,
I had a few questions about backing up the phone and the methods associated with it. I did a quick search, but if this has already been explained somewhere, excuse my ignorance and point me in the right direction.
(Background) I have had an EVO 4G for a couple of months now. I rooted (via unrevoked) and flashed the Fresh Evo ROM from XDA. Before flashing I created a backup through ClockworkMod. After flashing, I downloaded Titanium backup, and created two (just in case) and set up a regular backup.
Questions: What exactly is backed up via each one of these backup methods (titanium vs clockwork)?
I keep hearing about the Nandroid backup - does either of these backup "everything"?
I'm not terribly concerned about the applications themselves being backed up, (I can sync through app brain) but more the data associated with them. Do either of these back up the data?
If I were to flash a new ROM and then "restore" one of these backups, will it keep the new ROM and load the old data?
Thanks in advance...
