Came to Android via Blackberry and it seems there is a different thought regarding backing up, pictures, email, contacts and such??

What is typically done in Android to make copy of info on the phone? Is there a tutorial?

Google will automatically back up your contacts for you. If you log into google on your computer you will see your contacts are backed up there. As far as images are concerned I use Lookout (free on market) to back up my images. Another option is to plug your phone into your PC and back them up that way. I'm sure there are other options to back up other stuff and hopefully someone can shed some light on that.
