bad day for my epic =(

So today my phone took a drop from waist high on to pavment. Ouch corners got scratched :o ......................Then about 3 hours later I went to pick up the phone off the table, and crap it slipped out of my hand right into a coffee cup half full of coffee. I took it out asap and dried and blew air into it speaker and mic and cam button were totaly submerged plus the keyboard keys. After it sat for 30 min I turned it on and bam back to life just have a nice coffee aroma (smellphone anyone) lol looks like it can take some beating. Best phone I have ever had loving the epic
 
I can't wait for the seidio rugged case to come out. I need that thing. Mainly for work; but, also it'll be nice knowing I can drop my phone and nothing is going to happen to it at any given time. That thing is bad ***.
 
My device is naked. I like the feel of it without a case. Plus, I like using a leather pouch to carry it. The leather pouch offers the protection that I need when carrying it around. I just trust that I won't drop it while I am using it. Lol.
 
How about bubble-wrap when out of the case.... lol.

As dwaynewilliams said, I hope you have insurance... I do!

nope, I definitely loved my LG dare more than the Palm Pre. Took a few months for it to sink in, but my Dare was a much better phone. Hardware was solid and it functioned the same from day 1 to day 365 (had it for about a year). Never gave my physical problems and was reliable. Sure it didn't have the same features as the pre, but it had some more functionality, like bluetooth file transfer. I mean, common Palm, please catch up to 2008!
 
Yes I have insurance of course. Im not worried about the screen wobble its a slider its bound to have some play in it.

Be careful! It may be working now, but if coffee got inside the phone, it may rust out some of the connections. I would get insurance for it as the others have said.
 
Glad to hear this phone is as tough as they say. I baby mine but sometimes I drop it on accident. Its part of being human and Im glad for you and me that this phone can take a beating.
 
i use the Galaxy S belt clip holster, always. Wearing shorts.. holster. Wearing bathing suit, holster. Going Full Monty... hold the holster. I'm not risking what happened to my Hero.
