"Score" is bad, sloppy English. There is no need for such colloquial terms, when we already have good, plain, unambiguous English.
Many members and viewers of our site are not native English-speakers, and will find the word incomprehensible in the present context.

There are words in your post that some would have problems with too. I see nothing wrong with the usage of score in a page directed towards English users. There are always going to be words in articles and headlines some group of people would have problems understanding.

I agree with Belodian. Score in that sense is often used when buying drugs. That is what I associate with the word. Dunno if it has a different connotation in the US. Maybe it is a UK vs US English thing.

"Score" is a word I practically only use in relation to sporting events. "Snag" would even be a better word to use instead.

Bigger question -- why is anyone paying attention to the annoying ads on the site?!?:p

Then it sounds like you're stealing it lol. That's a rabbit hole with no bottom  :p

so I guess you have problems understanding what happened during games when a team scores????
No cos that is a game orientated meaning. In the UK to score something is usually related to getting drugs (sometimes a prostitute) since I had to spell it out.
We would say "bag yourself" instead of "score" in that context.

The full stop is missing too. This sets an example of sloppy punctuation to young persons. 😠
