Bad ESN Droid DNA for AT&T????

Hi, all.

I have a verizon droid dna htc.
long story short, i thought i lost my phone but i did not.
but it took me a while, about a month to find my phone back.
so i had to report to verizon so it could have bad esn.

i do not know if i can reactivate this phone.
and i already have another phone.
so, i want to give this phone to my brother who is with at&t.
droid dna supports GSM so i think he can use it.
or should this phone to be flashed?

The DNA is GSM unlocked. I do not think a bad ESN will affect GSM use and it won't need any sort of flashing but I do not know for sure.
It won't hurt popping in his sim to see if it'll work.

If you do please post back because i've been wondering this myself for a few weeks.

i will have to ship it to him so it is going to be some day.

so once i lose my droid dna, someone finds it and uses it on at&t.
there is no way to catch it if you do not have find my android sort of apps installed.
i will not buy gsm unlocked phone again.
