I've had this droid for around a year now, and throughout that year it has gone through A LOT.

Been dropped, dropped and kicked, thrown, and recently got a good amount of water on it. I believe I am lucky because the water damage didn't do any permanent damage.

This phone has been the most durable phone I have ever had. Good job Motorola, hopefully you make some better phones soon (Vanilla android).

I love this phone! I will not be upgrading until after LTE phones come out, but even then I am unconvinced that there will be a phone out that could really compete with my rooted Droid. This phone still amazes me on a regular basis.

It is pretty durable. But I want to see if it can match the levels of durability of the original Game Boy. (If you haven't heard about the original Game Boy that took a mortar shell and could still play Tetris, educate yourself posthaste.)

My D1 has by far been my favorite of all smartphones.

The original GameBoy? Oh man, that takes me waaay back.

I'm thinking about going to the Droid X. I love my D1 and I have researched the X but want to know what you guys think. I will be selling my D1 as soon as I get my other phone.

I still have my Droid laying around the house somewhere, and needless to say it's a beast. That poor thing in the period of time that I used it went through a lot, both physically and on the software side. Needless to say, Motorola did a fantastic job with the Droid and I hope they continue to pump out phones like it going into the future.

They don't make them like they used to haha. Aside from my power button breaking, it lasted a while. I wish i had as much confidence in my DInc as i did in my Droid. Not going to happen, too much plastic and not enough metal.

I've had my Droid for quite some time as well and I can honestly say theres no scratches, nicks, or anything on it at all. My camera button still has the gold plating and everything. It could have something to do with the Otterbox case that I won in one of the AC's contest, but this device is durable.

My Droid is still laying around the house somewhere, and if something happened to my Fascinate I still have confidence that thing would get me by in the meantime. There never will be another device quite like the Droid. What a tank.

My camera button is white, has a couple dings and parts where the black paint came off.
Thing is, most of these came in the past couple of months lol
