BAMF 2.1 remix questions

I just flashed BAMF 2.1 remix and have a few questions.

First, is it possible to change the icons on the lockscreen? Also, is it ok to change themes and skins while on a ROM? Sorry to ask a noob question, but I'm pretty much the definition of noob right now. Thanks for the help!

Oh, and is it ok to use My Backup to get my apps, contacts, and some other things back?

Personalize - Lockscreen - Edit Details i think is where you change the lockscreen/icons on it.

Skins will work depending on the rom, but i believe they all work on 2.1 remix and that using them won't break any features (maybe someone using 2.1 can confirm this?).

First time changing my rom and I am trying to flash BAMF 2.1 remix, but it says E: Can't open /sdcard/BMAF-gingerremix-v2.1.zip......wondering what i do to fix this??

Did you check the md5?

If you wiped data already you can restore a backup, then dl the ROM again, check md5 as speed said to make sure the file is complete, and do not unzip the file or anything.

don't change fonts. it will bork your system.
they removed the toolkit for a while to address this issue.

i don't think TeamBamf is updating anything other than their UBERBAMF that's linked in this forum,

then that's the last of what's available in terms of 2.1R before updating to 3.0. already seen that page? then that's it
after 2.1Remix, they jumped into the Sense 3.0 line of ROMS with ROMS (like 3.0RC 4.9 & then stopped developing that for the previously mentioned UberBamf ROM)

if able,
(re)boot into recovery, restore a backup of Bamf 2.1Remix (or flash the ROM again if you didn't make a backup) and don't change fonts for future reference

You can stick with 2.1 if you want, but the team has warned that many of the older toolkit options (such as fonts) no longer work, and in fact could pose a threat if used.

Better advice would be to upgrade to the newest BAMF version, Forever 1.0.5:
