How do banking apps work? On the pixel 4xl it’s very easy no passwords required to be manually entered. Is it the same for the pixel 6 series?

You still have to authenticate as with any banking app. So you either enter a password every time or use the FPS to authenticate.

Exactly. My banking app either requires the fingerprint or password if the fingerprint fails for whatever reason. I don't have it set for my pin.
