Banking on a new Huawei?

I've had a couple of banking apps now need updating whilst using my new Huawei. I'm now running them through the browser and they are 95% the same.

I was just wondering though if anybody knows when the banking apps are going to appear through App Gallery?

I'd say I've been quite fortunate and my phone cloned banking apps have all been ok so far and have continued working. But I have had a look at web versions and doubt it'd be much of a bother using these too

No idea on banking app arrivals lol but just thought I'd join in so I'd get notifications if people have the info

I got my apps through phone clone for Lloyd's and Nationwide . I tried using the online one and its awesome on a small screen, especially Nationwide looks like something outnof the late 90s. But they work fine with Phone clone, so I'm happy.

Oh yeah, I've only seen Curve being available through their App Gallery so far. Which if you actually use it, should have you all sorted, since you're encouraged to use Curve as much as possible for the Cashback ans you can just add the rest of your baking/credit.

I got the Monzo app from Aptoide and it works perfectly. I also get notifications when there are app updates. Don't have any issues personally. I would obviously prefer it from the appgallery but im sure it will come in time.

As long as there are noises that the App Gallery versions are coming soon I can live with working with the browser version for now.

I assume that a contactless payment service will have to wait too?

Depends what you got, some banks/credit cards have their own contactless payments set up. I use Amex as my primary contactless method, problem is that Amex is not accepted everywhere, that's why if you have Curve, you should be set.

Ive noticed the updates for banking apps coming through Petal Search so obvs the banks arent against letting the Apps work on Huawei otherwise they would have updated the app to not work on Huawei.

Hi there – Huawei is currently working on this and some banking apps are on board already, such as Starling. We’d recommend you try using Curve, it has a lot of useful features to manage your banking and makes switching between accounts so easy. Let me know what you think of this.
