So one thing I always did with my Android Wear watch was to use an application that allows me to enter a barcode and pay for Starbucks with my watch. Is there anything like this for tizen?

Not that I've seen (and I do remember that app you are talking about).

One idea write be to take a screen shot of your bar code and then load it onto your watch in the gallery, then try to scan that at the POS. Post back the results if you do try that.. It'll take some experimenting I'm sure.

I tried that this morning but every time I tilt the watch back it turns the screen off. So it needs to be an app that cancels out the screen timeout with tilt.

I've tried taking a screenshot of my SB barcode. It won't let me. Says something like DRM protected.

I use this trick to pay for my Starbucks. You have to take a screen shot of the bar code from a computer because the Starbucks phone/tablet app prevents screen shots.

Crop the picture so that it will fit the screen, and load it to your gallery. This may take a few tries to make sure the bar code is not cut off by the round watch screen.

Launch the gallery app and select the bar code picture, when you turn your wrist the screen will shut off. If you press the power button on the watch after you have turned your wrist, the screen will turn back on to the barcode picture. As long as your wrist is already turned when you press the button, the screen will stay on long enough to scan the bar code at the register.

At some point the gallery app will time out and the power button will bring you back to the watch face. I usually select the bar code picture while I am ordering and have not had an issue.

How do you crop the barcode to fit the S3 face? I kept resizing it smaller and smaller but each time I view it from the S3 Gallery, it's the same small portion of the barcode instead one whole thing. :(

Hey... wanna say thanks to everyone for the tip. Tried it out just now on the watch. It worked!

Hope we can get the official NFC SB version soon, like the one in Korea.
