Hi
I have had my lg g5 for a few months now, but cannot get a day out of the battery, I am not a heavy user either:
1hr calls
1hr browsing internet
4-5 emails per day
30mins WhatsApp
30mins facebook
I run my phone on 38% brightness, have wifi and Bluetooth turned off when not in use.
I have done a factory reset 3 times battery still the same.
Anyone got any ideas how to make my battery last? is there any apps what I can use to close apps running in back ground that work well?
my reception(signal) is poor at work could this be part of the problem?

thanks

Try Gsam battery monitor. It should point you to where all your battery juice is leaking from

Weak cell reception is definitely a big cause of battery drain. You could try as an experiment, switch your phone into 3G, or even 2G mode when at work, if its just the 4G signal that's poor.

When your phone is getting a weak signal reception, that puts a strain on the battery, that very well could be the issue. How's the signal at home? Perhaps you could try the same usage at home and see if you get better longevity from your battery. And if that's the case, then it is most likely the poor reception at work guzzling your battery.
