Battery Age?

I bought a new Samsung battery for my note 3. It is oem according to Samsung customer support. it comes from j&j international (samsungparts.com) which Samsung customer support referred me to and verified is oem.

is there any way to tell from looking at the battery when it was built?

Hi

There is no way for the common person to find that information out. The battery is probably has spent some time on the shelf, I'm sure. I would imagine, that Samsung would be the only one that could look up that information, using the S/N#.
