Battery Apps For Samsung Note 4?

I have just upgraded from Samsung Galaxy 2 to Note 4.
I read a few months ago that installing battery apps would not be necessary on newer phones.
However ... would reinstalling apps such as Battery Doctor and Clean Master still be beneficial or superfluous?
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Battery apps that tell you what's happening, like GSam Battery Monitor, have always been good to have.

"Battery apps" that "clean RAM: should never be used in Android phones. This isn't Windows. Unused RAM is wasted RAM. Your RAM should always be filled up. Read why from someone who wrote the code - Multitasking the Android Way. (I take her word for it - she knows what she wrote better than I do, or than any so-called experts do.)
