Battery causing poor signal?

Hey guys, I'm on a brand new replacement Nexus with a new battery. I've noticed on this phone that I get horrible signal with the battery that came with it. I also have a spare OEM battery along with a charger for it. When I use the original battery in a full 4g area, the area where the bars are is grey (very low dbm, can't remember specifically). In the same area with the spare battery, I get full coverage as I should. This is only one example, but I have had the same results in other parts of my town, both 3g & 4g areas. Could the original battery really be causing me to have poor signal? Or am I going crazy?

As always, thanks in advance
Nic

I can't imagine that having any affect, really. I mean perhaps there's some strange frequency being put out by it, but I doubt it. How long have you been on the new phone?

I recently got rid of my nexus, I had 2 regular batteries and 1 extended. I never noticed any change in signal when using any of the 3.

Honestly, I'm having a difficult time grasping this concept myself, but it truly gets better signal on the spare for some reason. I've had this one for a week today.

On all of my other Nexuses, it was the exact same. I'm only noticing it on this one.
