Battery charging and discharging while connected

I recently installed Easy Tether on my Epic and laptop. Everything was working fine for about a week. I've been noticing that when I disconnect my Epic from my laptop now, the battery is like 99.5% dead.

I know I heard the sound that tells you it's finished charging, so I'm not quite sure as to what's going on here. Do anyone have any clue as to what may be the problem?

Wireless tethering does take a huge amount of juice from your battery. When I have used this to tether wireless I usually try and have my phone plugged into an available power source, like a wall outlet or car charger. Charging off your laptop battery just doesn't seem to have the juice needed to keep up with the device's drain while wireless tethering. You have to think of it as your device pulling double duty, its receiving a 3g or 4g signal and then also having to run the WIFI so its has you device under a big load.

Its a nice feature being able to wireless tether or wired tether but the downside is you eat up your battery on your device very fast even when plugged into an available power source.

Ok, I understand that. I hadn't noticed it do that before, but I just usually plug my Epic in when I drive home from the site in the morning.

Thanks for clearing that up.
