battery charging problem

hello just bought a android yesterday and notice when i was charging it while still on the screen starts opening and closing applications, trying to dial numbers just doing random stuff what could be the problem?

Maybe try a factory reset, failing that call customer service?

Do a factory reset as stated above:
(turn off the device completely... slide open the keyboard and press and hold the "x" key, while holding down the power button at the same time..... wait for the safe mode screen to appear... toggle the cursor up and down via keyboard "D-Pad" or volume +/-, and highlight "Wipe data/factory reset", when selected press the camera button.)
Hopefully this should cure what ales your Droid.
If not, bring it back and get a new one.

I had the same issue, had to get a replacement, seems something got a little too warm at some point.

Could be the charger. Are you using the one that came with it or another one? Some third party chargers cause problems with the capacitive screen.
