Battery charging slow

I am really loving my new lg g3 but for some reason it's not charging right or very slow. I am at 20 percent and after 10 minutes I am at 21 I know I am using my phone while charging it bit that's seriously nonsense. What's wrong. I'm using the charger that came with the phone
