Battery charging time remaining notification issue

So my s10+ was on 5% this is the lowest I've let it go.

I noticed on fast wireless charging it said in notification pull down 3hr 23m remaining.

I was going to sleep so thought I'd turn fast off (in settings) thinking itd maybe take 6 hours and I'd wake to it being nearly done.

But the notification still estimates 3hrs 23m remaining?

How can this be. Surely fast off would take longer. Why doesnt the notification account for this?

In your original check of charging time did it actually include the word "fast" as in "Fast wireless charging" or did it simply say "Wireless charging" ?

And this might sound obvious, but is the charger you're using, indeed, a Fast-Wireless-Charging-compatible one? Is it using the correct wired adapter (yes, the power adapter to the base also makes a difference).

It might take a couple minutes for the time to update, too, especially if you just turned the option off without plopping it off the base charger. Also remember that these are designed to charge slowly both at very low and very high current battery charges and only do so in 'fast mode' for about 3/4 of the battery smack in the middle of the charge thresholds.
