battery discharging?

for the last few days whenever i plug in my tab the battery in the task bar has a red x through it and will not recharge. I googled and i think the x means the battery is discharging but what got it in this situation and how do i get it to completely charge? It seems crazy that it wont recharge when i plug it in.

Its seeing it as an incompatible charging source. Are you using the PS that came with it? If your are then you have a bad charger or cable. The tab will not charge through a standard USB port.

Im charging with the source that came with it which has worked fine for several weeks now. This is new behavior.

Yeah, sounds like your wall charger might be bad. Because its an proprietary charger there's not much you can do other than try and find a third party solution or call Samsung and have them mail you another.

GL I wouldn't be pleased if it were me
