Has anyone / is anyone using Battery Doctor app by KS Mobile? If so, how good is it at actually saving your battery or is it just another gimmick app? I am always wary of apps that claim to increase battery life.

I haven't used it. I think most of them are about a half step above useless. Check this out: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...how-tos/298919-guide-battery-saving-tips.html

And just get into habits like if you know your signal sucks, turn on airplane mode or turn the cell off.
