Battery door durability

I recsntly purchased a flip cover and have yet to decide if I like it. So I've been popping the stock battery door off and putting the flip cover on. And vice versa. Do I need to worry about the stock battery door breaking? I know it's plastic but is it really that brittle?

Since getting the phone back in Nov 2012, I've been taking the battery cover off every few days (sometimes more often depending on use) to swap out for a fresh battery and haven't had any problems. As long as you're careful taking it off and putting it back on it should be fine. Just don't flex it too much taking it off or force it back on if the clips aren't matching up right.

There were a couple of times that I wasn't as gentle as I should hae been but all in all I've been careful.

And it doesn't show any signs of issue like warping or broken tabs.

Oh thanks. That's very helpful. I think the back cover is fine for now and I don't plan to keep on removing it. But if something does happen I will just get a new one. Might just order one so it's around if I need it.
