Battery drain because of gpsd process Galaxy Alpha

Hello. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Alpha and I have a strange problem with gpsd process. Probably some app try to find location, but I can't find that app. I removed all the apps installed by me, factory reset, clear cache and nothing works. If I restart the phone, for a few hours gpsd process don't appear and battery drain is normal, but when gpsd process starts battery drain is fast. How can I find that process? I read all the advices, to disable location, remote control, etc, but nothing works for me. Should I return the phone and try another one? Or I'll have the same problem?

Re: Battery drain because of gpsd process Galaxy Alpha

If you bought the phone brand new or used, I will immediately get the money back and buy another phone. If factory resetting didn't work, then there is something wrong with the phone.

Probably some google service that is hidden under sine other google app or setting.

Do you have your GPS turned off?

The default home screen weather widget will use location every time you unlock/turn the screen. You can configured it to refresh only once an hour.

Thank you for your answers. The GPS is off and I removed the weather widget. I set the phone to airplane mode last night with 100% battery and in the morning the battery level was 50%. GPSD don't let the phone to sleep. I thing I will return the phone or try to change it. It's a great device otherwise and I hope only mine have the problem.

Well, I bought another Galaxy Alpha and I have the same issue. I'm very disappointed. I like this phone so much but it drives me crazy.
Is there any solution? I see that this is not a common problem with Galaxy Alpha, but it's common for S devices(S3, S4, S5). I try solutions from the internet but nothing works. Phone is not rooted.
