Hey Android Central. I have an A5 2016 and since the Marshmallow update, when I turn off my phone say overnight, I loose between 10-15% battery life. Has anyone else been having this issue too? Why would there be such a battery drain when the phone is off?

There shouldn't be more than a few percent per month in most cases - due to the self-discharge of most batteries (lithium is one of them). Your battery could be defective, or the phone could have something defective in it.

Me too, my friend. From Italy.

Sorry for my not perfect english.

Yesterday night i go off my A5(2016). I write on paper the % of battery life. Yesterday first go off the percent was 86%.

Today mornig, after boot, the percent is 75. :(

This problem is go after i update to 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).

No new app. My device have 2 mounth of life. IS NEW!!! And first of this update i don't have this problem.

Have you a solution or another person that have this problem too?

Thank you and greetings from Italy.

/Giuseppe.

I have exactly the same problem and I think it is since I updated to 6.0.1.
I also found out that at least once there was a battery icon after I switched the device off, same icon like when the device is been charged.
It's a bug in the Android and it's a major one!

Hi all, I have a slightly different problem. My A5 2016 takes forever to reach 50% with the fast charger then to 100% in a flash.
The battery reaches 50% quickly from 100% then just after 50% the phone does.
Anything I can do to remedy this?

Thanks in advance.
