Battery drain when completely turned off - Normal?

I don't use my Note 8 much lately so I had it turned off. I noticed now after 2 times where I charged it to 100%, then turned it off for 2-3 days, turned it back on and the battery registers about 55-60%. Seems odd to me?
thoughts?

I agree, that's abnormal. Show us a screenshot of the Settings>Battery menu when you turn it back on and see that it's dropped that low.

Doesn't sound normal to me. Havne't tried with the Note but I have a few spare iPhones 6s' here that I keep stored fully charged and can go months and turn on to see at least half charge at times.

1%-2% as soon as you take it off the charger is normal (because of the way we measure state of charge).

Another percent or two after a week would be normal - batteries do self-discharge, and the phone still is on even when it's off - the power switch circuit is on, waiting for you to push the button. (It's not just a physical switch - there's electronics watching it, so that draws a little bit of battery.)

40% in 3 days of being off? Something's wrong.

Like B. Diddy said, get screenshot of the "Battery Usage" screen so we can see what the hell is going on there!!! Actually, being shut off, it probably won't record anything there? Hmmm... try it anyway.

I thought of that too, but it would still be interesting to see the graph. There should be a gap in the graph from when the phone was powered off -- so if there isn't, and you see a continuous curve downward, that would suggest the phone actually wasn't completely powered off.
