Battery drain

Has anyone else started having battery draining problems? Mine has started dropping more. My brother in law is having the same problem.

I'm not doing anything different from what I have been doing since I got it

I'm on August patch didn't notice anything, have you look in battery stats see what high in there?

Nope on August patch no battery drain at all.

I'll look and see.
I'm going to charge it to 100 tonight and unplug it when I go to sleep. I'm going to restart it and let it sit until I wake up and see what the battery looks like.

Ok , also clear cache in recovery

Safe Mode may help.

Mine seems to be draining quicker as well but I was putting it down to the factory reset that I did before Samsung fixed the update for the 976b 5G version.
Be interesting to see if same people who had the issue with the original update will also be the people with battery drain.

Of course Samsung want you to upgrade to the Note 20 ultra lol.

No drain on my Samsung Note10 + 5G before or after the August update.

As we all use different apps, preferences settings and launchers, signal strengths and usage patterns etc battery usage is a subjective topic.

Delete the history and fine now.
Delete all the old emails on your phone.
Restart your phone.
I got Gsam battery monitor on.

Run your phone down to 50%.
Then charge it.

Mine was acting up a little with the July update.
It seens fine now.

Yeah 5 to 8 % should be fine
Do you have AOD on all the time ?

May be try enabling "Adaptive battery" and "Adaptive power saving"

My 10+ still holding up well, but I do clear cache and restart it nightly.

Yes my battery is losing power fast

My 10 + is still going strong! I'm a heavy user with over 10 hours a day and now I use line 6 amplifi and positive grid spark when I get home and I'll charge maybe mid day at work (while watching Hulu) this is the best battery I've ever had!
