Honestly,

I sort of noticed that myself yesterday, while I was at work.

While I know that I at times I had used my phone for calls and work emails, the battery seemed to be draining too quickly compared to the tasks that I was preforming.

I can't compare 6.0.1 to 6.0 since I skipped 6.0, but compared to 5.1.1 the battery performance is noticeably better. I can definitely see the impact of doze mode. I leave my phone plugged in overnight, but I am noticing that as my phone sits on my desk at work the battery is not draining as quickly as it did before.

I noticed a big difference in battery drain after the. 6.0.1 update I had to charged my phone three times when I normally only have to once or twice a day..

I lost an extra 10% overnight since updating to 6.0.1 yesterday. Wiping cache partition now.

This morning I optimized my Apps in battery setting and I turned location to battery saver and am now getting better performance out of the battery. Something I didn't have to do before 6.01

I am getting great battery life with 6.01. A full wipe did the trick for me.

I'm getting good battery life to,no complaints.
I did a full wipe ,no real reason to do ,, but I did ,ha

Yeah battery drains really fast, I'm talking 25/100 in a half hour or so. Also my phone gets warmer than usual.

Did it recently start draining fast ?
Installed any new Apps ?
Have you run GSam Battery Monitor to see if anything is keeping it awake ? Also to see how warm its getting Temp wise ?
Have you put it in safe mode to see if it still drains fast ?

Yes it just started draining fast after the 6.0.1 update. The 6.0.0 it was fine. Battery is 118 degrees so as you can imagine it's a bit warm. No new apps I keep everything really basic. I did install the t mobile my account but I uninstalled if thinking it was draining the battery but it wasn't. Gonna use gsam tonight and see.
