Battery drain

Google play store is draining battery even when app is closed, has used 68% of my battery today. Any ideas on how to solve this?

If a reboot of the phone doesn't work, got to <Settings><Apps> - then scroll down to Google Play Store and click on it and a new window will open - click on <Force Stop> That will solve it until the next time you use it! You'll just have to wait and see if it happens again... not sure why it happened. It's never happened on mine! Good Luck - hopefully the reboot will do it!

Also, when on the screen of the app where you have he option to force stop, clear the cache. That will take care of some weird problems, too.

Also, disable autoupdate.
