Battery Drain

Hello, I have come here due to a problem on my phone's battery. It is a Z981 and 3400 mAh battery and is running Android 6.0.1. it is about 2 years old. I believe that there is something wrong with my battery and I have come here because I am so desperate So each time I use my phone the battery would stay at a percent for a long time like 6 minutes and after that it drops 2 percent, then it all goes down hill from there dropping faster and faster. But when I plugged it in, it charges like 8 percent in minute. Once I had it powered off an came back to it 10 minutes later and it had charged about 25 percent. The average battery life on this thing is an hour and thirty minutes of sot. Also, whenever I try calibrating it it never helps. It also whenever i drain it "fully" and it says 0% ,but I plugged it on powered off it shows about 40%. What the heck is going on with ? The day I got this phone the battery would last forever, now it drains like crazy. I've tried calibrating it, download greenify and doze, clearing cache, factory reset and none has worked. Maybe I am doing something wrong in the calibrating? Please help me, I am ready to answer all questions for me .

Since the battery is around 2 years old and has been repeatedly been drained lower than 40%, most likely it is on its way out. You'll need to get a new battery or a new device.
