Hi everyone!
Does anyone have issues with their G4 turning off when battery hasn't completely drained yet? Sonetimes it just shuts down when reaching 3%, no animation for turning off. It just dies. Sometimes it reaches 2%, but never 1.
When I try to turn it back on it says it's at 0% battery.
Thanks for any suggestions :)

The battery meter gets somewhat unreliable as it nears zero, so it could be nothing more than that and nothing you can do about it. There's also a chance your battery is getting weak. As batteries age, they get what's known as extra voltage sag under heavy demands. Meaning if you start gaming or something, the voltage will drop more than normal, but will recover some after resting. Since the battery meter is based on reading voltage, this voltage sag can result in a shut down before the meter updates and sees the drop.

At a few percentage points, I wouldn't worry about which it is yet. If you start seeing it shut off at higher percentages, like around 10%, then I'd suggest replacing the battery. In general, it's not a good idea to fully drain the battery like this anyway. It can cause the battery to age quicker. It's generally recommended to charge it when it gets around 30-40% remaining to maximize the lifespan.

From experience, when u have u normal apps and u see the battery drain faster than normal, it means the battery needs to be replace.

Be careful you don't ruin your battery by letting it get down that low.
