Battery draining and temperature going to CPU 78

Hi, my Samsung s5 all of a sudden started to act weird although it took me a while to notice so not sure when it started. It drained the battery but even before that it started to get very very hot. I downloaded an app that measures the CPU temperature and i noticed it goes up till 78. The phone sometimes draines faster then It charges it and it has gone gradually worse. Its also very very slow and hangs a lot. i am about to go back to iphone but would really appreciate some advise befoee doing that.

This started happening with my phone last week. I power it off charge it to 100%, unplug, turn it on and its at 84%. I downloaded battery save apps, cleaned everything up, shut down apps I don't use, bought a new battery and life at 35% withing 2 hours even when not using. Please advise...
