A little over a month ago I took a bath with my phone (unintentionally) , after a week i replaced : the battery (2600mAh) with one that had the same capacity (said it was genuine as well) , also changed the speaker with the sensors that it has on top , and also the charging port.. the only thing that remained original in the phone is the camera and the logic board...
However the battery drains out way quicker than it did after it drowned...

I have to mention that after i changed the battery there was a slight improvement in the battery life , where it wouldn't drain as much while on stand-by..

you guys have any suggestions about what is causing this issue???

Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Since water damage can be insidious and widespread, it certainly could be affecting the motherboard as well in some way that is increasing battery drain. It'd help to see some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

You might have to install a 3rd party battery monitor, like GSam Battery Monitor, to get the Cell Signal Strength graph.

Not GSAM, the phone's Settings/Battery screens.

From your GSAM screens, I'd say that your phone's radios are damaged - they shouldn't be using 22% of the battery use.

It would also be helpful to see the stats after the battery level has gone from 100% to 20-30% (not down by 20-30%). From the screenshots, though, I agree with @Rukbat -- there's something wrong with your phone radio, or your cell signal is just plain terrible (no bars in your signal indicator). Poor cell signal eats up battery.

sorry for the extremely late reply. I constantly get 2 or no lines at all, no matter where I am, that's very true. Is there a way I can replace the antenna or the radio??? I haven't found any exchange parts on the internet.

It's not the antenna, it's most likely the radio itself - which means a new motherboard. But a wet phone is going to keep degrading (the minerals in the water, that were left in the phone even if you dried it, keep causing shorts and eating copper, so eventually, even if you replace the motherboard, the screen will start to go, then the speaker, then the earphone jack, etc., etc. It really doesn't pay to repair a phone that's gotten wet unless you wash it properly and immediately (see Oh, no! My Phone got Wet!).
