I just got a message on the screen of my Nexus 5 which says the battery management module needs to be upgraded. It warns me that if I don't do it the battery will consume fast and may cause it to fail completely.

I haven't had any battery problems thus far. I use my phone quite heavily but the battery always lasts the day.
The phone was only bought in August so it's not that old…..
