battery flashing arrow

I have a flashing arrow pointing to the right within my battery icon. What is it meaning?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is it connected to another device via a USB cable? If so, the phone might be charging the other device.

I have an LG G6 and since yesterday I've had a rapidly blinking arrow inside the battery icon at the top right hand side on my phone.

Let me say I did start using some new Anker Type C charging cables yesterday also. Could the issue be related and if so, how so?
