The battery life on my phone has gotten bad recently. I've unistalled apps that I put on there since noticing but no luck. My question now is how long can the internal battery go before looking into changing it?

At around a year (more or less) the capacity diminishes to about 80%
If you're having issues with the battery and you're not in Kit Kat yet, download GSam battery monitor and Wakelock detector, those apps should be able to tell you what is draining the battery.
If you recently updated to Kit Kat, I'd recommend a factory reset

Kit Kat is not yet available for this device. Do you have HBO go installed on your device? I installed it on mine and have noticed a little quicker drain. But nothing to go crazy about.

Couldn't see which phone he had since I was posting from the AC App...

Am I correct in believing that the Motorola Droid Razr MAXX HD XT926 Battery + Flex Cable EV40 SNN5913A 3200 mAh is the correct battery replacement for our phone? I'm not sure how difficult it would be for a novice like me to do the replacement so I did some research today and it looks like cellphonerepairshop.com would be a viable option. I also see that self installation would require a specialty set of tools.

Starting a new thread would be the best way to get help for your specific question :)

Sorry, forgot to check back with you. Is it still an issue? I don't have HBO Go and I don't have a Maxx so I wouldn't know if any updates have caused a drain recently
