Looking at the graph which shows what my battery has been up to, I see it is showing my phone as being 'Awake' with 'Screen on' whilst it was actually turned off... I always turn the phone off overnight and as it was beside me I know for certain the screen (and the phone) was OFF. So is this a glitch on Android?

The period of no mobile signal is correct as this is when the phone was Powered off. Hence why the Awake and Screen on makes no sense.

Welcome to Android Central! Sure looks like a glitch. Reboot and see if it recurs.

Ah, thank you, I just assumed a Power off - Shut phone down (which I do every night) was the same as the reboot you described. Appears not. I will update. :)

What you're doing each night just looks like putting the phone to sleep (i.e, only shutting off the screen). If you really powered the phone completely off, there would be a gap in the battery stats while it was off.

I have been holding down the power key then selecting Power off / Shut phone down. So is that not the same as a reboot when I turn the phone back on the next morning?

Oh I see--that does in fact power the phone off, and turning the phone back on in the morning does act like a reboot. I'm not sure if Fastboot changes that at all--do you have Fastboot on or off?

It does seem to be more of a glitch, then.

I Have Fastboot off. I will see if the reboot procedure makes any difference. Thanks.
