Well, this is crazy, today my dad woke up to a dead One X, he couldn't turn it on, nothing happened, when he plugged it in, the red light started blinking, he charged it for about 30 mins and went to work, in work the phone died again, he left it charging for an hour and it went back alive, so far it's been ok today.

Now a few secs ago my HTC One X+ (AT&T Version), which was plugged into my PC via USB, and tethering via wi-fi, suddenly died, I was browsing a forum on tapatalk, and suddenly it just turned off, I managed to film a little bit of what was going on:

Both phones are barely 1 week old!

My One X+ had about 10% battery, and my dad's One X was charged at night upto 100%, by then he left it turned on, but with no usage.

EDIT: Oh, forgot to say, today, it lost contact with the sim twice, fixed by restarting the phone, not sure if related.

Sounds like connector issues, I would advise exchanging both phones asap while your within the return period

Sent from my blazing HTC One X+
Orange & Blue through and through...Go Gators!

My one x is bugging me with the battery,I love it but the battery kills me.

My one x is better then your one x!!
