Battery issue!

HI all, I have recently bought Nexus 4 and now I'm facing battery problem. When I plug in charger with in seconds it shows 100% full and when I unplug in few minutes it turns back to 45% , I'm very much worried and hoping some of you would help me ....

do you mean that the moment you plugged in the charger, it says 100%?
this happened to me some times too. all I did is restarting it and plug in the charger again. I don't think this is battery issue but the OS issue.
