Battery issue.

Well sadly after less than a week with my new Infuse it seems that I am going to start having the same issue. Til now I have been very impressed with the new phones battwry life which could go an easy 24hrs between charges. Now all of a sudden I have used over 40% of my battery in 6 hrs with almost no use today. I only see it going downhill. Plus now Im out of the 30 day period so Im pretty much screwed.

someone told me once that 12v car chargers can be damaging to batteries as well...

I didn't exspect the batteries to last long. however I hate how long it takes to charge the battery. I just ordered 2 new batteries and a charger for 11 shipped so mid day I will just swap batteries out. No biggie.

My battery has seem to taken a change in life. Recently the past few days I've charged my phone and I get t the notification saying 100% battery charged remove from charger. When I get that message my battery has been lasting much longer as if the first days I was using it. Before I would not normally get that message. Charge it till you get that message then use it and see how it goes. I have noticed an improvement when I get that message.

Sent from da infuse mon!

Well I'm starting to think the problem is the phone looking for a signal when I'm at work. For some reason the building I work in is like cell signal cryptonite. Sometimes are better than others. When I got home from work at 5pm I had like 34%. Now at 11 I have 30%. I haven't really used the phone, but the battery is not really draining on standby which is a good thing. I go on vacation on Saturday so we'll see how the phone acts with me not at work for a week or so.

JuiceDefender Plus will take care of that battery and have it last all day long. Or Flash the Infused Rom. No extra Batterys needed :)

It depends on your needs. I was happy with the free version, but I needed customization in order to have some apps on when the screen was off, particularly streaming music apps, such as Orb Live. So, I bought the Plus version and added that option. It works beautifully!

I think you are correct as I have the same issue. At work my Infuse (and all other AT&T phones) get little or no signal in my office. And I watch my battery usage go between 5-7% an hour just sitting there not doing anything. I barely make 11 hours before I see the battery indicator change from green to that yellow-orange color. At home (of course I also use WiFi there) I can go well beyond 24 hours and that is while using the phone most of the day!

I think it really expends alot of energy trying to get signal. Of course AT&T's network is not helping.

(for the record at work I have WiFi and Blutooth turned off)

Yeah Im pretty sure thats what the issue is. Today on my first day of vacation i am at 20% battery left after 16hrs with me playing with the phone a bunch, using the camera sending texts and picture messages and I even watched a whole movie on it on the plane.
