Any one else having battery issues after the recent update.? Not sure if it s the watch up date or the lollipop update on my note 3 that's causing it to drain so fast. I charged my watch over night and this morning took it off the charger and now after 6 hrs of use its dead. On a normal day I would get at least 2 days of full use before I had to charge it

I'm noticing a more than usual battery use/drain, but nothing to that extent. Now, I have to charge every other day, instead of a three day charge..

Me too! I got slightly less than 24hrs on a charge when I would normally have gotten 2-3 days. As well, when I checked the battery app, bluetooth was the number one user.

Yes, battery drain is horrible after this update, but also horrible since the Lollipop update (Sprint, LP 5.0)

I have the original Gear. After the update my battery life has dropped to 8hrs. I have reinstalled Gear manager and reset the watch to no avail.

Glad to see I was not the only one with this issue. I hate carrying my charger with me back and forth to work

I'm not seeing any difference so far with my Galaxy Note 4 and Neo 2, I will do a Battery life log comparison, as I have been keeping one from each update, I will post after a week to be fair in the comparison.

After two days of running my Neo 2 is at 70% battery so I see no difference in battery usage, it might be a compatibility issue with Lollipop or?
also after I do a Gear update I always shutdown the Neo 2 and Galaxy Note 4, to then restart the Note 4 first and after 5-10 minute in letting all things resolve out to then turn my Neo 2 on... for me it has worked out best in keeping both functioning efficiently. even when I do the Android app updates I do this as often in the past an update will rattle the Neo 2 in sometimes not working properly?... it is one thing that makes me envious of Apple iPhone users in when they get an update not so much drama is to be expected... but then again iPhones are a different animal altogether in not having the ability to customize to the users wishes, among many other things?, I guess all things have a price?

I was having battery issues with the previous update, but this latest update has taken my Gear 2 Neo back to my normal battery usage.

My battery life used to be more than 24 hours on my Note 3 and 2 days on my gear 2 neo. After Lollipop it became about 5 hours on the note 3 and maybe 8 on the Neo. The note is now up to about 10 hour battery life (on light use), while the gear 2 is useless giving me about 5 hours life even with the watch set to not turn on when I twist my wrist. The update today did not help. My gear 2 neo is virtually useless, I am considering giving it up and looking into an android watch.:(

My. Phone updated gear manager last night. charged it and tested it. Took it off the Charger at 930 this morning and got it down to 5% at 10pm so 12 and a half hours which is double the battery life from a week ago but still. Not what it used to be where a single charge would atheist get me a day and a half before having to charge it again

I'm having a similar issue. I use my gear2 for sleep tracking, just to get a general idea, and for just the time. I updated it two days ago and thought nothing of it, then, it died after a couple hours off the charger yesterday from a full charge, then died again overnight, and after 30 minutes it lost over 50%.
If this is how Samsung does business I'm switching everything over.

I suggest to do a complete reset of the watch, probably some process is running continuously after the update. On my Gear 2 I had no problems at all.

Yes, many people are having a same problem I do to. When I bought my Android phone I thought the battery life was amazing, but since kit Kat update my battery is horrible.

Upgraded my phone to s6 edge and battery life improved I have not charged my watch since 830 yesterday morning and as of right now I'm at 28% so the lollipop update on some phones messed up the gear.
