Picked up an AT&T One X for my wife two weeks and change ago.
She loves the phone, and, mostly, it has great battery life. She's listening to music and watching videos on her commute, browsing a lot when she gets home, and using Twitter, Facebook and other apps a lot as well.
Typically, she gets through the day w/ 50% of her battery still left, which is really darn good.
BUT, twice now (once last week and again today), her battery had been dead my early afternoon, despite no unusual use and having gotten a full charge overnight.
Any idea how to nail down the cause? The only thought that I had was with WiFi. She has WiFi always on (I set it up that way as it is how I have my GSII set up). The last time that her phone died, after I got it charged back up, the WiFi usage in the power screen was very high - Like Android OS 40%, WiFi 29%, and then everything else. This seemed especially strange and high to me.
Could this be an issue of her phone simply trying to grab WiFi all day while she is out of the house, and that killing the battery? If so, could that also be related to the known WiFi issues that her phone currently has?
Like I said, most days, the phone is perfectly fine, and could easily last a day and half with heavy usage. But, twice now, it's died by early afternoon with only light usage.
