Battery Issues?

So I got my HTC One and I absolutely love it. I love almost everything about it.

For some reason the battery is acting kind of wonky. On a regular basis is seems to struggle to get to 100% charge. For example when I was charging it last night, it sat at 99% for a while before going to full charge. This doesn't bother me to much, but the weird part was when I turned it on the next morning (after unplugging it and shutting it off for the night), when it turned on I saw it only had 90% battery!

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? Also, my battery life doesn't seem that stellar in the first place just to put that out there.

I have an S3 and my last percentage point always takes a while to go through. The phone probably slows down in accepting a charge for that last bit. As for losing that 10% over night, turning the phone off then on is a pretty good battery killer, phones that get stuck in a boot loop will die very quickly. The battery also discharges even when not in use. Those things can't really account for the full 10%, but it may be close. I would try just letting the phone stay on while you sleep, and reboot once a week.
