I had a Droid then a got the Charge(convinced verizon to let me trade it in) and now i am considering the bionic. Does motorola still only report the battery level every 10%? Also is the bionic the phone i should choose as my replacement?

yes 10%. you can download 3rd party apps that report it every 1%. there are plenty of threads out there that will help you make your decision as to whether to get the bionic or wait for the razr/any other phone. if i were in your shoes, i wouldn't get the bionic

i have circle battery widget on my bionic. it's simple and gives me the info i want. as to upgrading to the bionic, just do your homework and then decide. i knew that the rezound and nexus were about to be released when i got the bionic on release day but i didn't know about the razr. if i had known about the razr, i would still have gone with the bionic, it's the right phone for me. i previously had an eris and so the htc products were not something i wanted again because they don't seem to be able to get a PHONE signal and well as samsung or motorola. the nexus is out because it's too big for me and doesn't have removable sd card. the razr would have been out of the picture because it's specs are only marginally better than the bionic and doesn't have a removable battery. i love my bionic, it's the right phone for me. but only you can decide which phone is your perfect phone.

I use circle battery widget as well.

One bad thing about reporing in 1% increments, it made me obsess about my battery level more! Under normal conditions, my phone will last me all day, with quick 25 minute charge in the car on my way home from work. So as long as I have enough juice to last me all day I would be okay with 10% increments.

I'm running TH3ORY SHIFT3R right now, gets rid of the 10% mod right off the bat. And of course it makes the phone faster, lighter, debloated, and more feature-rich while still running Blur (or if you don't want Blur at all, they have something for that as well)
