battery life after lollipop

To be honest, 21 hours on battery doesn't seem terrible with the usage you show. What were you getting before 5.0?
On my second in Moto X, I have my settings such as: screen brightness at about 10 to 20 percent, because I'm a first generation Moto X, I noticed that even an automatic brightness settings, my battery charge was eating up 40 to 50 percent of my battery now, under my battery status per charge it was eating up man out for 25 percent of battery and man, am i noticing the difference.

I bought my Moto X after Lollipop was released so it was one of the first things I did before I even went about downloading my apps. I've had great battery life with Lollipop, much better than I expected it to be.

Absolutely indeed. I agree with you.

I've been using 5.1 since almost a week and awful battery life in comparison to already little poor out of the box on 4.4.2. On 4.4.4 it used to last around 12 hours at least on my usage after 100℅ charge but ever since 5.1 its barely even 6 hours

I get about two hours and thirty minutes Max of SOT. Then it dies when it's below 15%. Not 0% though... Just below 15%.

On 4.4.4 this happens to me too, say if I had 11% left and I took a screen shot (my most recent occurrence)

Did you wipe the system cache partition? It is so extremely important to do this that I don't know why it isn't automatically done as part of the OTA update process. You need to wipe the cache partition, then go through at least three full battery cycles (fully deplete, then fully charge). Only then are the battery usage stats anywhere close to reliable.

It's pain in the *** :(

You really have to go through three full battery cycles?
