Battery life and charging time

After the update the battery lasts longer. As with all Samsung updates, that comes with a price. Now it takes forever for it to charge. I've started out at 34% and 7 hours later it's 80% or so. I'm using the Samsung DUO wireless charger, no issues before update.

Anyone else have this issue?

That sounds like a ridiculous amount of time for charging, are you charging it powered down by any chance?

I've never powered it down to charge. One thing I notice different is now it displays a lightening bolt displayed while charging.

I'm also using the Samsung Duo charger. My charging time seems similar to before the update, perhaps slightly longer but not very noticeably so. I'm definitely not getting a 7 hour charging time! Have you tried doing a device reset?

i found that the charge time is not correct (much slower than it show.
I need to use around 2hrs to charge full from 41% to 100%

the watch show me is around 1h 40mins but the actual charging time is slightly more than 2HRS

I use stock charger + airplane mode on my watch!

I'm not going by what the watch time says to be fully charged. This is actual charge time, I put it on the charger before going to bed.

Slow charging is usually due to a bad charger, a bad cable, a defective charging chip or an exhausted battery - not the OS. Discharge time can be due to the OS.

Going to check that out. Started thinking that's the case this morning as the phone was not charged this morning either.

Knowing my kids, they swapped chargers with me, bastards.

That is a crazy long charging time. Must be something wrong. Even at 15%, I can get to a full charge in under 2 hours

I have noticed a significant drop of my battery life under normal day to day wear. I turn it on Bluetooth connection when I go to work and it used to only discharge to maybe 85% during a 8-10hr day, now it's around 70%... gonna try to restart watch, any suggestions? Can you replace the battery? I'm estimating my watch is 8-9 months old...

The restart fixed it.
