Battery life/charging with long term GPS use

Does anyone know of a car charger that will keep up with the battery drain while using the GPS? My Verizon charger is unable to keep up and the phone ultimately dies...

I've been using my old black berry verizon car charger and its been working great.

My motorola car charger works good on mine. The charger came out of the droid x essential pack and it is the one the lights up blue with the motorola "M" logo.

I got the Premium Micro-USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter from Bargaincell for $7 and it stays slightly ahead of the GPS battery usage.
