Battery Life discussion thread.

I just actually tried checking mine for the first time... did a screen shot of the graph but not the main screen - Duh! Typed up the data in my Notepad App though to store it!

...I think it did pretty well! I'm pleased!

I reset the GSam battery monitor to get the first crappy week of stats out of the average and also switched to dark mode a lot.

Does this look normal for an unlocked snapdragon note 20 ultra?

Are you using full brightness and having Location on all the time?
That's 1/2 what I'm getting and mine is the Exynos

That's great!
I've just set up some Bixby routines, 50% brightness for day and 7% for night and medium power saving over night in my sleep hours. This routine thing is good fun to play around with.

Auto brightness for outside but i manually adjust when indoors. Location is only ON OR OFF no in-between.

I would try and manually update apps in both Galaxy Store and Play Store and then clear cache in recovery afterwards.

Which apps?

In both Galaxy Store and Play Store there's a menu up top to the left, when you click on it in Galaxy Store you have an option for updates, in the Play Store it is called My Apps and Games, when you click that it will search for updates as well.
I have been doing it daily when having my morning coffee instead of waiting for updates to come automatically.
It only takes a minute and then the updates just run in the background.

How much battery life have you saved? What else can I do so I get more SOT?

It's mission impossible to say what you should do really but using a dark theme and dark mode helps a lot, I find it easier on the eyes as well even though this screen really is something else.
I'm still using Optimised in power settings and the 120hz adaptive screen, I just can't go back to the 60hz.
Screen brightness I have set on auto but I do adjust it a little often enough as the phone is learning your preferences in different lighting conditions.
Some of the things that really hit the battery, like location on all the time and maybe poor phone connection and max screen brightness, when you combine the different factors it adds up so I'm not surprised that we see results ranging from 5 to 10 hour SoT.

After using my phone for 2 weeks i found out that poor phone connection is biggest battery drainer. When im home and have wifi connected is like 40% less battery draining.

Excellent result Ruben.

I was called a liar on the Samsung Members community for my SoT claims LOL

That's not good !

Someone directly called you a liar :(

I had the Exynos version which saw me through my day which is 5am to 9pm with around 30% left.

That's fine for me.

Dio you have the Exynos or SnapDragon version ?

Mine is the Exynos and I have zero complaints about it.
I don't do any gaming though, but it is without a doubt a superb device.

Guys
If'n your phone is giving you the service you like.
It don’t make any difference if yer a Liar or not.

Just as long as your happy.
