wow! that's a lot of SOT! I'd be curious about your settings, but even more, what your SOT impressions are compared to how it was before Android 11.

Getting like half hour more, hour more, etc?

personally, I'm getting enough SOT to last me through the day and honestly, that's enough. Most days I got 30% or more left, that's with teaching in my Signal Black Hole known as my school (only using like 2 hours SOT cuz I'm on my laptop and well, teaching, haha), and then on Sat/Sun when I'm home I get closer to 4-5 hours, with like 10% left.

I like the Note 20 Ultra's Battery life, can't wait for it to get even better! and honestly... I put it down to 60hz refresh on Sunday, used it for around 3 hours SOT but used it all day, and it was down to 50% when I went to bed. So, on 60hz I could maybe go almost 2 full days! and I don't see the difference THAT hugely between 120hz and 60hz.

Things got really better on day 3 for me. Solely on mobile date and got almost 6.5 hours of SOT time for 50% battery usage. 120hz was on, as was google location sharing and telegram and whatsapp to name a few suckers inc dual sim.View attachment 328836
Pretty ironic that I dont get these figures since using a snapdragon version now. Just goes to show the myth about snapdragon battery V Exynos is BS.

What!? Wow... that's crazy.

Do you have Facebook installed, Messenger, etc?
I also have Life 360 installed, I know that's a battery drain, but it's important for my family to keep track of each other.

Anything else you enabled/ disabled?

What is considered good? I am a novice when it comes to intricacies in phones but I got a note 20 after having a note 8 for 3 years. And to be very honest my note 8 seems to have better battery life than this note 20. This one is down to 74% in 3 hours and 25 mins. Is that OK?

Just use the Phone
Forget about the battery.
It has to go threw a learning process and your habbits.

It may take a couple months for it to adjust.
You got a 5000 ah battery.

Just use the phone and forget about the battery.
I like charging it on a slow charger if possible.

If I need it now.
I will put it on a fast charger.
Samsung made a charging pad .
It takes pressure off the USBC plug in the bottom of the phone.

I've been really enjoying the battery life.

Since I am home right now (I got covid☹️) I have put my phone on Power Saving Mode. All my apps and games still run super fast, I can't notice any difference.

The other day I got almost 2 full days worth! Didn't charge it at night.

On a normal day with no Power Saving, I still get enough, maybe 5 some hours, but plenty for me.

wow! are you using battery saver?

i am happy with my 5 hours SOT, I charge when I've been using a lot, powersaver all day if I know i'm out and about and need the juice. Good stuff.

Been happy with mine. I don't track SOT or anything but I've been doing a lot of traveling last few months... Texas, Delaware, Mass... Airports, locations, using maps all day and usually gets me through the day without having to plug in. I was just commenting to myself the other day when not traveling and just in the office all week where I just use it for throughout the day texting and Teams all day between co-workers, I can forget to charge my phone and go two days. Not sure if it's because 3.1 made it even better??

Of course would love to have huge specs like 5000-6000mah batteries for extra available time but for what it gives me now in such a sexy slim package I'm OK with it.

I'm liking the 120hz to much to go back to 60hz so I have just set up a Bixby Routine to switch once battery hits 35% which won't be to often anyway.

How would I do that? That's a great idea! Being used to relatively ancient Androids, I'm new to Bixby. I followed Sakitech's recommendations about making a Bixby routine for when to have location going. How would I get it to specify if battery hits so and so percent?

I also followed another youtuber's recommendations of dumping about every app into deep sleeping apps.

Sakitech's latest hack (he passed along the tip from someone else) for having 120hz refresh rate and medium power savings mode on simultaneously referred to Oneui 3.0, not 3.1. Even if the 3.0 way works on 3.1, it'd erase all the changes I made and I'd have to start from scratch.

I don't have power savings mode on and I have 120 enabled. I'm not a power user; I end the day at 60-65% charge. It's impractical to watch videos at work, I don't game on the phone, and most of my battery usage comes from whatever mp3 app I'm using that day.

When I get home, it's a much better experience to watch any videos on the PC. The phone usually goes onto the charger. I'll occasionally color something, etc.

120's a big reason why I chose the Note 20 Ultra.
